2023 In the Middle of Love
A blend of 60% Zweigelt farmed organically at our Folklor Home Farm in Charlevoix, and 40% Pinot Noir grown by the Altonen Family on the north end of Torch Lake in Antrim County.
The Pinot Noir and Zweigelt grapes were co-fermented and underwent a native yeast fermentation. It was aged in neutral oak barrels for 12 months. Unfined and unfiltered. The wine received a 20ppm sulfite addition.
A Michigan Red Wine with an inviting nose and acid-driven, structured palate.
