2025 Day Trip
Zweigelt, a red grape variety from Austria, grows beautifully in Northern Michigan. It makes for a spicy, rustic rosé with generous aromatics. Drinking it reminds us of June strawberries and sunshine.
The grapes for this wine were grown by the Sheneman Family at Torch Lake Cellars in Bellaire, MI. The grapes were picked and destemmed by hand, received 12 hours of skin contact and native yeast fermentation.
