2023 Runabout 100% Riesling grown by the Altonen Family on the northwest side of Torch Lake. Nine months of lees aging softens the bright acidity of this age-worthy dry Riesling. 50% of the wine was aged in neutral oak, and 50% in stainless steel. Bottle price $25.
2024 Fruiting Bodies This dry red wine is a blend of 70% Zweigelt and 30% Marechal Foch. The Marechal Foch underwent 9 days of whole cluster carbonic maceration before being co-fermented with the Zweigelt using native yeast and aged in neutral oak barrels for 11 months. The rustic, tannic profile of the Zweigelt is complimented by the black fruit and acidity from the Marechal Foch. Bottle price $40.
2024 Field Blend Perry Off-dry perry made with a field blend of Bosc, Bartlett and wild pears. Pears come from 75-year-old trees that are completely un-sprayed on our Folklor Home Farm. Wild fermented, aged in neutral oak barrels for 10 months and bottle conditioned for delicate carbonation. Bottle price $25.
